Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Collaborates with PT. Mayora through Le Minerale; Educating the Community with the “Mineral Esensial Bantu Jaga Sehatmu” Program
The Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) in collaboration with PT Mayora, through Le Minerale brand collaborates to provide education on the importance of mineral water quality for the body to the public, through the “Mineral Esensial Bantu Jaga Sehatmu” program.
This program will be implemented as a preventive promotive effort which is a pillar of the healthy paradigm launched by the government. Promotive prevention will be carried out at all levels of health facilities. One of them is a hospital. This education is aimed at the community, especially medical personnel and health workers, in order to gain comprehensive knowledge. Basically, not all mineral water has balanced and high quality mineral ingredient. In fact, essential minerals have many benefits for the body.
"This time at the IDI-Hospital Gathering, we are launching a promotive and preventive business education program for medical/health personnel in hospitals. In this program there will be several educational series, including the benefits of drinking water for our health, which is not only for adequate body hydration, but actually more than that, mineral water which has quality and balanced essential minerals, plays a role in helping to fulfill the body's mineral adequacy. Apart from that, essential minerals also have good benefits, including: maintaining healthy bones, using glucose for energy, maintaining the immune system, regulating blood pressure and helping regulate lung function. This essential mineral also has an important role for pregnant women, children and the family as a whole. "Therefore, people need to get the right education, so that they don't just drink, but to be healthy they need to pay attention to drinking water quality," said the Secretary General of the Executive Board of the Indonesian Doctors Association (Secretary General of PB IDI) Dr. Ulul Albab, SpOG
Understanding this important role, IDI supports and participates in increasing this awareness and implementing it into health promotion activities in hospitals. "IDI hopes that with this program, partnership can be established with doctors in hospitals as agents of change in health promotion efforts. Apart from that, the main thing is that there is increased awareness among doctors regarding the importance of health promotion efforts, including the essential minerals program to help keep you healthy. "Hopefully the hospital will get the benefits, and can provide education consistently, both to its health workers and to patients," said Dr. Ulul.
In line with this, Mayora, through Le Minerale brand as a drinking water company which is committed to providing healthy choices of mineral water containing quality essential minerals that are good for the body, really understands that mineral water has an important role for public health. Moreover, this mineral water is consumed regularly every day.
"Through the program, in collaboration with hospitals, we hope that the public understands more about the benefits of mineral water, which not only can help fulfill body needs, but it is also very important to pay attention to the essential mineral content in it, which is very beneficial for health. Because drinking is not just about hydrating," said Head of Public Relations and Digital Le Minerale, Yuna Eka Kristina.
Yuna hopes that this awareness will change people's lifestyles, so that the quality of Indonesia's health will continue to improve. "This is part of Le Minerale's commitment, not only by providing healthy mineral water products, but also by participating in education so that people will be more careful and intelligent," he said.
This collaboration was opened with a hydration health symposium with the theme "Beyond Hydration to Existential Health and Vitality" which took place on July 12 2023 at Lippo Kuningan, Jakarta.
This program will be an ongoing program. After the symposium, Le Minerale will also provide direct education to the public through various events at hospitals which will be more interesting and beneficial for the health of the Indonesian people.
